I'm hoping someone here has seen this before because it's driving me crazy. My 2008 Corvette C6 has started activating the active handling system randomly while I'm driving in a straight line on the highway. The message pops up on the dash, I feel a slight brake pulse, and then it goes away. No check engine light, no ABS light, nothing. It happens maybe once every 20 minutes, completely random. I've taken it to two shops and neither could figure it out. One said it might be a wheel speed sensor, but wouldn't the ABS light come on? A friend who races Corvettes suggested that a worn out shock absorber can cause the wheel to bounce slightly at highway speeds, which the active handling system might interpret as wheel slip and try to correct. I found a place that does elite Corvette repair at 800Sayara Sharjah and they mentioned that they can monitor the wheel speed sensors and suspension position sensors in real time to see which one is triggering the system. Has anyone here had that random active handling activation on their C6 and actually found the fix? I'm worried it's going to fail completely one day. Any advice would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.
