Eagle golf term is used to refer to a score that is two strokes below par in one hole, and this is an uncommon and very impressive feat. Eagle is an official scoring word as compared to amusing golf expressions such as worm burner to mean a shot with low roll or fried egg when referring to a hole in the bunker. Although humorous words will make the game funny, Eagle will make a special mention of great ability. The combination of the two presents how golf is a serious game with lighthearted language.
